Sorry to hear this!
This is a great guide to starting/storing seeds which I follow a few steps myself. The website is full of wonderful information if you type in key words. Written by Colin and @Cannabenoid

There could be many factors but my first google on this strain tribute tells me that its of older seed stock and someone else in 2021 grew it with 3 of 5 germinated……
How do you store your seeds? I vacuum seal mine when humidity is lower and try not to open them when it is high. I then store them in a wooden dresser wrapped in an old pair of jeans. Figure this should be enough to keep moisture away. I have seeds 5 plus years that I still get excellent results with.
When germinating seeds but mostly on older stock, i roll a small piece of sandpaper up into a tube that fits in between my fingers. Cover or tape a piece of paper to the ends. Put seeds in and shake vigorously for 30-45 seconds. This will soften the shell. I then fill a coffee cup with tap water and add 3 drops of 29% h2o2, stir and soak my seeds for 16-24 hours. Then off to a double paper towel soaked with the same water from cup. This goes onto a plate with a thin layer of paper towel on top and another plate taped and inverted upside down to allow air flow in between the plates. Tilt sideways to allow extra water to run off plate. Place in a warm area, enough to create humidity on domes but don’t cook them with too much heat. Monitor moisture levels and top up if required with same water from cup. Within 12-48 hours you should have 90-100% germinated. When planting I like to soak that same water from paper towels onto my freshly planted seed.
Maybe I’m crazy….My method is long but it works. Many ways to get the job done but this is my method. If you want any pictures or clarification, lemme know, hope this helps!!
I prefer taking a paper towel cutting it in half wetting the paper towel with regular tap water well water not city water but have had success either way then putting spread out on half of the cut paper towel sealing in a sandwich bag putting it on top the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Check them every day. But I store in sealed containers in crisper drawer in refrigerator.
I do this method too except that I put seeds in paper towel dampened with 2% hydrogen peroxide (improves germination), into baggie, hang baggy inside top of veg tent. Nice and warm up there and the roots all grow the same way so they can be perfectly placed into media with a hole in it. I don’t cover the seeds, they’re just below the surface in a narrow hole.
