Oh my bad I assumed I was talking to the guy from Canada, Canuck grows from Canada uses Gia green organic amendments in coco, I was thinking the same thing why can’t it grow right in the ground like everything else and back in the day, you have a dry amendment recipe you use that I can go get all the stuff from the grow store or order it and throw it in the dirt, use the dirt I pull from the whole and amend that? Even put some peat, coco or something to help with drainage or use some of the dirt from the ground and mix it all and put in pots so I can move them if needed, Don’t got much time so I’m popping some tonight might have to do autos and fast flowering, gonna run some photos too I want some decent size and flower, Next year I’m starting inside early and going for some of the big boys, have you ran any of the pass outdoors? If so what came out the best?
The auto?
I can get gia off Amazon do you throw the grow and flower right in one pot or top dress the flower in flower?
If you’re in the states craft blend from buildasoil is an amazing product. There are lots of other brands… i believe kis is another.
You will not get gaia green across the border unless it is already there and available.
Step one, dig hole, step 2 fill with peat, step 3 plant in peat, step 4 when plant has a few leaves top dress your peat and mix some compost on top. Step 5 have fun and watch your plant grow, repeat step 4 every 2-4 weeks.
The idea here is you start the plant in base neutral soil, get the plant healthy and then the plants roots will extend and pick up other useful nutrients/biology that may not be so kind to your little one starting out.
Coco does not bond well with organics and most often ends up causing calcium and magnesium uptake issues.
Up to you but this is how i’d do it.
Happy growing amigo! ![]()
Autos only work for me in my short growing seasons. My climate is not built for photoperiod plants without light deprivation and even still is cutting it short
My climate is close to yours I’m in Maine, have you tried the gen 1 Dirt banana pocket rocket and Martian fuel? They are all fire , that whole pass drop was fire , I want to grow one photo to try to get a bigger and frostier plant, I know autos can grow fire to and big but most aren’t, I started with autos like 10 years or so ago, indoor got huge auto, no kidding almost a p off one indoor, then went to photos, thanks I appreciate it.
This is all i use indoor. I rarely use the green because i use a water only super soil for ~3-4mo without needing ammendments, depending on pot and a few variables of course.
Id put it straight in the ground and have these on hand if needed.
Easy game.
I heard of them, nice, thanks I appreciate it, hope you keep having successful grows and more, thanks again🙏
Thats all ive used for several years now. I havent posted on Insta in a few years, but theres a lot of old grows using just these 2. @ExtremeLST
Bro I found a bad ass garden center near me that I can get a yard of super soil for $75 can get yards of top soil for $50, yards of mulch and all that.
