Need a little advice on powdery mildew. My grow is starting week 8 and I noticed the pm starting on a few of the lower leaves very minimal should I be concerned?? Never had this issue before and is there a organic spray to combat the problem.
….the worst. I had PM once and if I could give myself one piece of advice back then it would be to chuck it out, clean and start fresh after a few weeks.
I tried to reduce the spread with homemade remedies and a store bought product. Yes it slows it down but you’re not getting rid of it. I dunked my buds in peroxide water mix and hung to dry. Tried to smoke it a couple times. Noticeable taste and wasn’t enjoyable. Not worth the health risk.

Luckily I’ve never had PM, but a friend who had it suggested spraying milk diluted with water. Looking into it further, this seems to be a legitimate treatment.
For the next crop, weekly oil sprays can suffocate the PM so it doesn’t start its long, invisible life that happens weeks before it sporalates into the mold you’re seeing now.

I would use a mixture of potassium bicarbonate, water, castle soap. Also hydrogen peroxide at 3.5%, lactic acid bacteria serum is one of the best but needs to be made, takes time. I would also focus on what’s causing the PM in the first place. Remove the bottom 20-30% of the plant, proper ventilation, dirty equipment…etc
