If you could pick any strain from the multipass to help deal with the side effects of chemo, what would it be and why?
My uncle is stage 4 and having a rough couple of days. Just drying some keys to the kingdom’s “Eastern Rebellion” which is known for anti-inflammatory benefits and more. Next up is durban poison rbx2 which I think is going to be a great all arounder for him.
Def make that man some RSO!!! If he isnt dry vaping flower (ideally thru bong), id recommend that also, but a good/decent vape can cost ya 150-200. Awesome you’re growing him some meds!! Fuck Cancer
Thanks sugarbear, I can only do so much but it helps. Currently feeding him bubble hash brownies but thats not full spectrum in my mind.
I got him a ohhzzee of RSO when he was first diagnosed. The person who gave it to me ended up being a clown. Told me he’d separate it for capsules and got lazy and sent a jar. 6 hours away from me I believe my uncle was scared to use it and got lost/stolen in the move. I really should look into doing my own while not burning the house down….
Its not too hard to make, just gotta keep an eye on it. Diff ways to do it, can use water distiller, or just stove top, stove fan or small fan on to help blow off alcohol and put lid on if it lights on fire, will starve it of oxygen and flame will go out. Can use rice cooker too! Kind of time cosnuming any which way but does make some great meds. Sorry to hear that dude turned out to be all lazy like that! Cool you got him bubble hash brownies still!!
The problem being in Canada is I have to find someone (which I do but is 2.5 hours away) to find consumable high proof alcohol. We are very restricted and cannot get everclear. ISO is the only thing but am told this is not good.
Private Liquor Stores That Stock Everclear
Some private liquor shops (not government Liquor Marts) in Winnipeg or nearby do carry Everclear 190 proof (95 % ABV) in small sizes:
• Kingsway Liquor has Everclear 190 proof in stock (e.g., full bottle sizes available).
Private retailers may vary in stock from week to week, so it’s worth calling ahead.
Tip: Ask the store staff for “Everclear 190 proof” or “neutral grain spirit 95 % ABV”. Sometimes they keep it behind the counter rather than on open shelves.

Manitoba Liquor Marts
Manitoba Liquor Marts (the government stores) are not currently importing new U.S. spirits regularly, but for a limited time they have been selling various U.S.-made products from existing inventory — including spirits — at multiple outlets in Winnipeg.
That means:
• You might find high-proof American spirits occasionally at Liquor Marts while that inventory lasts (ask in store).
• Availability is not guaranteed and isn’t consistently stocked.
⸻
Other High-Proof Options
If Everclear specifically isn’t available, there are equivalent neutral spirits you can look for:
• Spirytus rectified spirit (~96 % ABV) — often easier to find online or through specialty retailers.
⸻
Tips for Buying in Winnipeg
• Call ahead to local liquor stores and ask about 190 proof neutral spirits.
• Check LiquorMart.ca for current Manitoba Liquor Mart stock.
• Because Manitoba hasn’t been regularly importing U.S. liquor, stock can be limited or temporary — calling the store first will save you a trip.
I’ll look into the other items but everclear is definitely not available in my province(or state if you will). All government run and the store recommendation is in the states somewhere.
I’ll end up seeing my friend for some homemade moonshine in the end most likely.
