Any tips or tricks for a good re veg?

I’m really liking my ballers game gal this run but I failed to take any cuttings. I would like to attempt to re veg and would love any tips or tricks since I never have before. The hope is to retain the genetics so that I can take clones.

I usually cut mine back to 1 1/2 to 2 ft above the pot and leave some leafs on each branch. I put it directly back under 18/6 light cycle or whatever you use for veg. Just water/ feed lightly when needed. They won’t be drinking much. Within a couple weeks you’ll start getting some funky leaf growth but that will straighten out and it will start growing normal leaves again. I think some people might put them under 24hr light for a few days to kick things off but I just go back to a normal veg cycle. You might not need to cut your plant back but I do. It might just depend on how large it is. But I would definitely leave some leaves on if you can. I’ve had them come back outside with no leaves, but I would leave some on if possible.

Another option I like is to cut clones from flowering plants. Typically something from the underdeveloped lower areas.

I treat them just like any normal clone and they typically root pretty fast but take another couple weeks to start the vegging process again. It’s pretty cool watching the flower exploid into a bunch of branches.

Some POTG clones cut from flower

just make sure all the flower is cut off or it will rot and mold on you, everything else everyone said is spot on.

Keep about 1/3 of your buds give heavy veg nutes the day you cut with some root powder in it. I also gave 24 hours before harvest
